General
1 } Any out of character fights must take place through PM. There will be no public fighting between members.
2 } While cursing is allowed, excessive amounts of foul language is not cool. Cussing out other members is also unacceptable.
3 }| Be respectful and kind to all members. Meaning don't just go out of your way to be mean whether you like them or not.
4 } The staff is the staff for a reason so respect their authority. However, if you sense corruption or see a staff member breaking a rule then you need to let Sekhmet The staff is just a group of people who can help with anything and know the site well.
5 } Try to refrain from giving out personal information like your phone number, address, etc. Stray Lullaby cares about your safety. Since it is your information you are entitled to do with it what you want but do so at your own risk.
6 } We have one account per person here so don't go making an account for each of your characters. It's easier to meet and get to know people this way.
7 } We understand that not all of you are capable of being here constantly every day. We do, however, expect you to be here at least -and I mean at the very least- once a week. If you are going on vacation or have something planned that will keep you away for an extended period of time, please let one of the staff members know!
8 } Please do not join if you know you can not be active.
9 } Make sure you opt-in to get emails. It's important. If you don't want to for some reason send Sekmet a PM with the reason why.

Roleplay
[/center] 1 } This is a semi-literate+ roleplay. So the minimum word count for a post is 200 words. We understand that sometimes it is hard to come up with large posts but 200 words really isn't that much. If you're having a hard time posting, why not try talking about the scenery, or what your character is thinking? 2 } Grammar is important. Punctuation is required, caps will be used, and correct spelling is necessary. We understand that not everyone can spell flawlessly but there is that handy spell check button right by the post button. Use it. 3 } No character is perfect. Meaning your character can't be totally beautiful and be good at everything. People aren't perfect so neither are your characters. With that being said, your characters cannot be invincible. 4 } This is a realistic roleplay. Odd colors and things of the sort are not allowed. Odd eye colors are allowed only through purchase in the Paw Shop with your Paws, accumulated by posting. 5 } There is no power playing allowed here. Sometimes it is necessary to do a little but make sure it is okay with whoever you are roleplaying first. 6 } Liquid time is allowed here. Meaning you can post your character in more than one thread, given you are able to keep up with each thread. 7 | You cannot start off with a high ranking character. High ranks are roleplayed for. 8 | This is a stray dog roleplay. You may only start out creating a canine. But during special promotions, you may be allowed to create something other than a dog - like a wolf, coyote, or fox. 9 } There is a character limit. It's five. If you want more characters then you need to ask the staff for permission. We don't want a ton of unused characters. [/blockquote][/size] |

[/center] 1 } There will be NO advertising in the cbox. We have a special place for those of you who want to advertise for other places. Please only do it there. 2 } No fighting in the cbox. It looks foolish and unprofessional. If you have any problems with someone handle it over PM. We don't want to see you fighting. 3 } Do not spam the cbox. While it is alright to have a lot to say, saying it using one word a message is not cool. It's a waste of space and really annoying to read. 4 } Rules regarding cursing are effective in the cbox as well. Look in the basic section to see the rules on foul language. [/blockquote][/size] |

[/center] 1 } Be kind to all members which means no bullying or acting superior. You are here for them. They are not here for you. 2 } You cannot accept your own app. It's just dumb. Wait for someone else to accept it like everyone else. 3 } Notice that you're all global mods. It's done that way for a reason. None of you are better than each other. You all have the same powers. Sekhmet has more authority, because she made this place. 4 } You have to follow the same rules as everyone else. Just because you're staff does not mean you are above the rules. [/blockquote] |
